Evan went to the doctor for his 9 month visit today. He was so good and sweet. He didn't even cry when they pricked his toe for a blood test.
We were very curious about his size since he hasn't been weighed since his 6 month visit. Here are his impressive stats: 21 lbs 4 oz (75 percentile), 29 inches (75 percentile) and his head was the usual 97 percentile.
We discussed Evan's unique way of getting around. For those who don't know, Evan scoots on his back, like the crab walk. His doctor said she's only had one other baby who got around that way (most scoot on their bottom while sitting up). She said to continue to try to get him to crawl since it's easier to get around that way. But, she said that the important thing is he's mobile. Below you'll see a picture of him scooting into the hallway. I like to think he's working on his Pilates Bridge to develop a strong core.

i promise..one day he will just wake up and start crawling...then you'll miss the back crawl days...he is PRECIOUS - besides - it makes for cute pictures.
