Children's Museum

We drove into town and met Whitney and Waverley at the Children's Museum. Before it opened, we had coffee and snacks with Dad. Evan was too busy eating to look up at the camera...

Waverley was patiently waiting for Evan to arrive...

Evan was happy to see his girlfriend.

There was a cute toddler area with lots of fun things to do. The only issue was that the featured exhibit for the older kids was about sound. Right next to the toddler area was about 100 elementary school kids banging on musical instruments.

They are watching the older children make noise. Waverley is wondering why they can't go play with the big kids.

They shared very well! We went to story time and the made it through one story but they lost interest once the Spanish book was being read. We left once our ears couldn't take the banging anymore. We noted that every Monday from 9am-noon, the museum is reserved for ages 0-3...I think that would be worth it! It was great to see Whitney and Waverley and enjoy this toddler stage together.
