20 Month Update

Here are some highlights from the past couple of weeks.

He loves to stack his play-doh containers. He takes them outside, then back inside, then outside again.

Evan went to his first baseball game. He liked watching all the other children. He was very curious about all the snack vendors that walked by us.

He liked watching the scoreboard too.

DeDe and Poppy treated us to some County Line BBQ. Evan saw lots of turtles and ducks in the water. He danced to the live guitar music and attracted quite an audience.

We took a weekend trip and got to eat dinner with dear friends that we miss!
We visited Evan's cousin, Grant. This was the only picture I had of them together! They had fun swinging, sliding, playing chase, and pushing toy cars off of the coffee table. Evan loved all of Grant's toys. If only he would play with his toys like that...
Here are a few tid bits I don't want to forget...

-For all of you who told me Evan will go through a phase where he won't eat much--you're wrong! We have yet to see that. He still eats so much and we have trouble getting him to slow down, chew, and eat one bite at a time. He talks about food all day. He wants to read his books that have food in them. It's pretty funny.

-He goes to story time with DeDe every Wednesday while I'm at Bible Study. She says he's the first one to go get a name tag, sits quietly in her lap and listens to all the stories, and puts out both hands for a stamp at the end. I tried to take him to story time and we had to leave. He behaves the worst for me right now...why is that?

-He says "eye-uhl" for "Idol." He LOVES American Idol.

-At night he not only sleeps with his blanky, named "bobby," but he also sleeps with his stuffed Winnie the Pooh and stuffed Bob-the-Tomato from Veggie Tales.
