Despite being one of the first ones to check-in on Southwest, exactly 24 hours before the flight, and being the first non-wheelchair passenger on the plane, we did not get the front row seats. I guess there were some folks staying on the plane from the previous flight...ugh! Despite that, the flight went very well. Evan is not a flexible sleeper so we weren't expecting a nap on the plane ride and we were correct. He ate a sack lunch, watched DVDs, read books, climbed over the seats to DeDe and Poppy, walked the aisle, and ate more. I had to bring out the "special cookies" I bought at Whole Foods when his ears hurt during the landing.

Evan loved the luggage carts. He took a few rides on it before we returned it. The carts were kept on the bottom floor by the elevators. Literally every time we passed by them (multiple times per day), he would point and say "ooh, what's that?"

Since Evan isn't a good sleeper away from his crib, we decided to rent a full size crib (the condo only offer pack-and-plays). We also rented an aquarium like he has at home. We made sure to bring Bob the Tomato, Bobby (blankie), and Pooh, which are the items he sleeps with. I even brought his Ulitmate Crib Sheet. We were trying to make it as much like home as possible. It worked! He slept great at night.
He wasn't happy about getting back in the crib for this picture. Check out the bed head...

Later that night, we went to Downtown Disney.
We got in bed early to rest up for a full day of Disney the next day...more to come soon!
