We decided to getaway to Pt Aransas for a couple of days. Evan had never been to the beach. We weren't sure what he would think but he LOVED it! We had great weather. The ocean breeze was a refreshing break from our heat. The water was clear (for a TX beach) and there was no tar, seaweed, or jelly fish problems! Our condo was very nice and we already can't wait to return next year!
From the second we got to the beach, he wanted to be out in the waves. He went WAY out there with Rob and jumped the waves over-and-over. It made me a little nervous! The waves made him so excited he was yelling and making the funniest noises. He would lay down in the water and didn't even mind if he got a taste of salt water. He had no fear!

We also visited the Texas State Aquarium. The dolphins were our favorite.

We stayed at the Sea Gull Condos. It seems like every place down there is older. But, this one was very well kept and nice. The best part was the beach view and proximity to the beach.

oh what a fab trip...please tell me where yall stayed we go to prot a with steven's parents every year and our sand doesnt look like that, lol!!!!
