Time for the Twos

Today was Evan's last day in the one year old Sunday School class. He is moving on to the twos! We have been so blessed teaching the little one year olds. They are so precious. We are moving up with him to teach the two year olds.
By second hour, he's tired and wants to lounge in the swing that's NOT for big boys!
He LOVES going on stroller rides. The twos don't get to do that so I guess this was his last one.
It goes without saying that snack time is probably his favorite part of church. Fortunately, we would do the lesson during snack time so he was usually a captive audience. He wasn't going to get up and leave his food.
A few things I want to remember about one year old class:
-He says "church" excitedly as we drive there.
-However, when we get there and leave him for the first hour (when we don't teach) he cries.
-When we ask him who he will see at church, he names his friends. Alicia is always named first and we suspect a crush. In addition to kid's names, he throws in "music" and "cheerios."
-During music time at Sunday School, he tries to sing the words to the songs. We sang B-I-B-L-E today and he jumped at the end of the song and yelled, "Bible!"
-He is always focused and serious about music time. Some kids walk around and play during it but Evan sits still and focuses on the songs.
It's been fun watching him in Sunday School!
