Warning: This could be too gross for some:)
My poor guy had to get 4 stitches in his hand on Saturday night. He fell on a Lincoln Log while rough housing with some friends at church. I had no idea a Lincoln Log could injure someone, but apparently, it can!
Before stitches
He is doing so well and has been brave. He only cries when we remove the bandage and clean it. We will keep it pretty still this week and go to our pediatrician for removal in a week.
And, almost exactly 3 years ago, Evan had 3 stitches near his eye. Going through the process was much easier with a 5 year old.
On Sunday, Sahnee, our elf, and Vic, Evan's stuffed monkey, reenacted the event!
