Evan's 3rd Birthday

On Evan's actual birthday, we started out going to breakfast with Daddy. He was a silly guy while waiting for his pancake, egg, and bacon.

Next, we picked up DeDe and went to Build-A Bear. It was our first visit. He picked out a monkey and here he is stuffing it.

His favorite part was giving the monkey a bath...

and brushing it.

He started losing interest by the time we started dressing the monkey so I just picked out an A&M shirt for him. Here we are at the computers naming the monkey. When I asked him what he wanted to name him, Evan said "Vic." I have no idea where this came from. So, our Aggie monkey is named Vic.

The mall staff strategically positioned this ride outside of Build-A-Bear. While I was paying, Evan took off and hopped on Clifford for a ride. If you ask him about his favorite thing at Build-A-Bear, he says the ride...nice.

We finished off his birthday with a family dinner at my parents house. We were also celebrating my dad's birthday.

And, Evan would have liked nothing better than to finish off his birthday with some wrestling. We crack up when we watch them. No one taught them how to do it, they just know. And, after reading Bringing Up Boys, we learned we shouldn't supress this boyish behavior. We are closeby acting as referees though.
