4th of July was a blast and Evan was really into it! After much convincing, Evan went with Rob to see fireworks on July 3rd. He ended up loving it. All day leading up to the fireworks, he was telling us that he couldn't go because he was too tired and needed to sleep. Evan knew I was staying behind with Ella Kate so he also said that he needed to stay home with me because he loved me so much. We knew he was really just scared. Rob said he held it together and enjoyed them!
On the 4th, we went to our downtown parade. Evan enjoyed it. There was a great turn out but too bad it was mainly advertisements. No cheerleaders, band, etc...so sad!

We met the Isaacsons there. The babies needed shade so we watched the parade from afar.
Later, my sister's family joined us for dinner. Ella Kate was exhausted after all the activity but loved spending time with Sophie!
