Day 2: Magic Kingdom and Kouzzina

Waiting for the bus
Gates of Magic Kingdom

Small World: Both kids loved this one and rode it a few times.  Evan has been working on memorizing world geography (thanks to ipad app: Stack the Countries) so he wanted to know each country represented.  Sis just pointed to everything saying "Look!"

One our way to the Pirates of the Carribean ride, we saw Goofy. This was our first character encounter and EK completely shocked us!  Considering she acts afraid of airplanes, ice cream trucks, and windows, we thought she would be afraid.  Such a cute and surprising moment!
Evan had been talking about the pirate ride for weeks prior to the trip. As we got closer, he started crying and wanted to back out.  We were "those parents" who made him ride anyway.  As we thought, he loved it and was ready to ride again once it was over.
Ella Kate asked to go see Buzz...another shock!  She was so cute with him and she showed him her boo boo on her arm. He kissed it for her.
Our weather was pretty warm with building cloudiness and a shower or thunderstorm each day.  The rain hindered our evening plans 2 of our nights.  We were wishing we booked an entire week!
Thanks to our 4 fast passes we received at check-in, we completed the things at the top of our list by lunch and headed back to the hotel for rest time.
That night, we had a table service meal at Cat Cora's Kouzzina Restaurant right beneath our hotel.  It was Greek food and delicious.  We received incredible service at all of the restaurants since 3 of us are gluten intolerant.  The chef would personally visit our table and discuss our options with us. Each place had several gluten free options, including bread choices and dessert choices.  I was really impressed with how Disney handles allergies/ intolerances!

Bonus: We could watch Magic Kingdom's fireworks from our balcony each night!

We were exhausted but ready for Animal Kingdom on Day 3!
