By Day 5, our last day, we were already hoping for more time! There was too much left to do! We saved our breakfast at Cinderella's Castle for the last day. On visits to Disney growing up, I always wanted to go inside the castle. Today was the day! We dressed up EK in her Tinkerbell outfit and arrived at Magic Kindgom around 8:45. Our breakfast reservation was for 9:15, but we asked to enter the park early (the park opened at 9am). They allowed us to enter early because our reservation was so close to opening time. I had heard it was a good idea to schedule an early breakfast to enter early and get great pictures. It is rare for Main Street to look so empty.

So, I guess we cheated the system a bit. We stood at the ropes just beyond the castle and ran to ride Dumbo (this line gets VERY long and there is not a Fastpass). Yes, we literally ran, and we were the 2nd family on the ride. We would have been first had we not parked our stroller:)
After Dumbo, we made it back to the castle for our 9:15am reservation. We began with pictures with Cinderella, taken by the professional photographer. Later in the meal, we received two 8x10 pictures and a few 4x6 pictures with Cinderella. When we sat down, our waiter gave EK a magic wand and Evan a sword. They were thrilled!
After ordering, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Belle visited our table. I think Evan was more excited than Ella Kate.
Snow White was so sweet to Ella Kate. I am sure she had kids of her own!
Our breakfast was delicious, especially after eating oatmeal in our room for 4 days! They brought out gluten free pastries, waffles, fresh fruit and steak and eggs. Even though Cinderella's castle required 2 table service meals on our meal plan, it was worth it. Included with our food were the pictures, souvenirs, and gratuity (gratuity was extra at our other table service meals). I have to say this was probably my favorite experience during our trip. And, if you ask Ella Kate her favorite part of Disney World, she says, "Cinderella's Castle."
After breakfast, we were off to catch some rides we missed on Day 2.
In the early afternoon, we park hopped to Epcot to catch the Nemo ride, which we had not done yet. Evan really wanted to stop and visit the characters there. He was into it by this point!
We had a little bit of down time at the Boardwalk and then headed out, determined to catch the nighttime parade back at Magic Kingdom.
Before the parade, we ate a quick service meal at Columbia Harbor House, which was good. We rode the train from Frontierland to the front of the park, and found our spot to watch the parade on Main Street. As we headed to dinner, we noticed people were already lining up to watch the parade 2 hours prior! We still found a great spot 45 minutes prior.
The kids were in awe! Ella Kate was pointing and saying "Look." Evan was taking in every moment with his serious face. The weather was perfect. It was a memorable way to end our time at Disney World...a perfect grand finale!
Afterward, we rushed to bus and told the kids to say goodbye to Disney World. As we walked, we were planning our next trip for when EK is closer to five. At five-and-a-half, Evan was such a trooper and so good on the trip. With EK 5 and Evan 8, it will be a breeze! I don't want the kids to grow up too quickly, but I can't wait to return!!
